Posting Guidelines

Welcome to The Spriter's Alliance forums... we hope to encourage free discussion and the ability to share your own work outside the rest of the site. Our rules are fairly straightforward, so please bear with us.

- No spamming. Pretty obvious rule... Spamming is generally making threads and posts of no real value, or doing other actions meant only to take up space and overall, piss people off.
Example: fj;lkdsj;lgnjvhdjkdiuhfLulzthisisspam fjkldafhkjvhius;fda;lkdffffeiuinc. Breaking this rule will result in a warning, followed by a 2-month ban if the problem persists.

- No flaming. Now, I'm not saying you can't debate with other members, just don't take it to ridiculous levels or involve any other members in it. If insults start flying or a thread gets out of hand, all participants will be warned to cease. Any who persist will be banned for one month.

- No pornography outside of the artwork board. Regardless of my own opinions on the matter, this is a public site, and legally so, pornography is forbidden in avatars, banners, signatures, or any other media format outside from the artwork board. Any porn links are also to be kept private. Breaking this rule will result in a one-week ban, followed by a 4-month ban if the problem persists. When posting this kind of material on the artwork board, it must be your own artwork, not taken off a website somewhere. You also must make a note of it in the thread title so that people will know the thread's content before entering.

- No degrading criticism. Needless to say, this forum is going to have a number of threads showing people's artwork and the like. Criticism is fine - better yet when it's actually constructive - but critism meant only to degrade the author, such as a post that says "Dude. Stop drawing. Your pictures all suck.", will not be tolerated. A first offense will result in a warning, a second in a week ban, and a third in a month ban.

- While discouraged, double posting IS allowed. As long as it doesn't get out of hand or turn into a spam offense, it should be fine.

- Also, for the sake of clarity, we very much encourage good grammar. Although it is a freedom on forums, please do at least make an effort to type clearly.

Any and all rules have the maximum penalty of a permanent ban if the problem becomes bad enough. All warnings given will include a link to the forum rules. However, I trust that most of our members are responsible enough to avoid such issues.
